Horrifically Beautiful or beautifully horrific?

I am Leah Budworth, a 21-year-old artist based in Cheshire and studying Fine Arts at Liverpool Hope University. My artwork strives to explore liminal space and the human experience. Focusing mainly on how trauma, derealisation and the subconscious manifests into our daily lives in the form of art. I re-imagine real life events and out of place objects to blur the line between reality and the surreal. Through these themes I create evocative characters and dream-like pieces that challenge perceptions and invite viewers to reflect on the inner complexities of life and darker thoughts.
